Sipsters, behind the bar

Meet the creative minds behind Sipsters: Ben and Dave, they’ve got nearly two decades of combined mixology and bartending experience in Melbourne, Victoria. They started serving drinks together at a local bar and restaurant, and from there the Sipsters mobile bar journey began. 

Dave (left) is the heart of our operations, found at events across Melbourne behind the Sipsters bar radiating infectious smiles. He began bartending at golf courses and is passionate about both mixology and his golf. On his days off, you'll find him perfecting his putting skills or exploring local pubs in search of his favourite cocktail, an espresso martini.

Ben (right)  is the creative genius behind our bespoke cocktail menus that grace our mobile bar and horse float. He’s worked in bars, restaurants and cafes doing everything from perfecting latte art to crafting cocktails that tell a story. On his days off, you’ll catch him running, enjoying a pint or attempting a round of golf with Dave (though he humbly admits Dave has the upper hand on the golf course). Ben's favourite cocktail, the Tommy's Margarita, reflects his appreciation for classics done right.

When you choose one of our packages, we collaborate with you to create a bespoke menu of cocktails or non-alcoholic cocktails tailored to your favourite alcohol and flavours.
